The Lawrence Unit 20 Board of Education met in regular session Monday night at Lawrenceville High School. They unanimously approved an approximate $11 million fiscal year budget for 2021-22. The passage of the balanced spending plan came after a public hearing. Superintendent Doug Daugherty also reported that this week will begin the state-mandated process of vaccinating and testing school personnel and staff. The district will be working with the Lawrence County Health Department on the process which will continue on an ongoing basis.
