Investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshalls Office and the Knox County Sheriffs Department has led to the arrest of a suspect in recent fires in the town of Freelandville. Taken into custody was Todd Hale of Freelandville. He has been preliminarily charged with two counts of Felony Arson. The charges stem from a residential porch fire last week and a garage fire this week in that town. Hale was being held pending bond in the Knox County Jail.
