Authorities in southwest Indiana have released the name of a sheriffs deputy wounded and hospitalized in a shooting incident in New Harmony over the weekend. The Posey County Indiana Sheriffs Department says he is 41 year old Bryan Hicks. He remains hospitalized at Deaconess Midtown Hospital with a single gunshot wound to the head. The suspected shooter has been identified as 70 year old Paul Wiltshire of New Harmony. He remains hospitalized at Deaconess Midtown with multiple gunshot wounds. Investigation into the shooting is continuing by the Indiana State Police and the Posey County Sheriffs Department.
