CUBS DOWN PHILLIES

The Chicago Cubs played spoiler Tuesday night in Philadelphia as they beat the host Phillies 6-3 in the first of a three game series at Citizens Bank Park. Patrick Wisdom was the catalyst as he blasted his 26th homer of the season breaking former Cub Kris Bryant’s rookie record. The two teams play again Wednesday night under the lights with Alec Mills (6-6) scheduled to go for the Cubs and Ranger Suarez (6-4) for the Phillies. The contest can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO FM beginning with the pregame show at 5:30 p.m. CDT and the first pitch at 6:05 p.m.
