In a Lawrence County junior high baseball battle on the final day of the regular season Monday, the Parkview Braves beat the Red Hill Junior Salukis 11-1 in 6 innings at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville. The host Braves scored 8 runs with 2 out in the first inning to set the tone for the win. It was Red Hill’s first loss of the season. The two teams will meet again Wednesday in the first round of the IESA Class 2A Regional 11 tournament being hosted by Casey-Westfield. The Braves are 3rd seeded and will host the contest with the 6th seeded Salukis at 4:30 p.m.
