The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,745 new confirmed cases of coronavirus across Illinois Thursday with 31 additional deaths. There were 16 positive cases reported Thursday by the Lawrence County Health Department with 152 active and 3 hospitalizations. There were 10 new cases reported in Knox County Indiana Thursday. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 1,554,336 cases of the disease with 24,194 deaths in Illinois. A total of 14,099,513 vaccines have been administered across the state since the vaccine rollout began with 12,828 vaccinations at sites across the state on Wednesday. The latest CDC/IDPH figures show that now 5,282 residents of Lawrence County or about 33.5% of the total population have now been fully vaccinated.
