Vincennes city firefighters were dispatched Thursday morning to battle a residential fire. Units were called out around 6:15 a.m. EDT to the fire location-the 634 Manilla Street home of Jody Patrick. There was smoke coming from the front of the residence upon arrival. There were no reported injuries. A firm damage estimate was not given and the cause remains under investigation.
