Steven “Reno” Wagner 69 of Newburg, Indiana, formerly of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born on March 20, 1952 to Barbara E. (Recker) and Vern Ray Wagner in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
Steven retired from The United States Postal Service after 40 years of service and dedication.
He was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Bridgeport, Illinois.
Steven is survived by his daughter Jessica Dawn Wagner of Newburg, Indiana, one brother Joseph Ray Wagner and wife Debra of Sullivan, Illinois and one sister Susan Elaine Mounce of Mattoon, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Barbara E. (Recker) Wagner and Vern Ray Wagner.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Glasser Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Illinois with Reverend Marvin Leighty officiating.
Burial will be in the White House Cemetery in Bridgeport, Illinois.
There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 starting at 12:00 P.M. until the time of Service at 2:00 P.M.
