The Lawrence County United Fund has announced that application are now available for local non profit organizations to seek funding help from the organization for the new fiscal year. They can be picked up at the First Financial Bank at 1601 State Street in Lawrenceville during regular business hours. The applications must be filled out and returned to the bank by the deadline of Thursday, September 31st. The completed forms will then go to the UF Budget Committee which decides which applicants receive monetary help. The United Fund is a 501C3 organization with no administrative costs. All monies raised come from such sources as charitible donations, payroll deductions and various annual fund raising activities and stays in Lawrence County. 11 local groups were recipients of UF money in 2020. Donations can be made by mail to Lawrence County United Fund, P.O. Box 23, Lawrenceville IL 62439 annually.
