Local and area authorities in southeastern Illinois and southwestern Indiana are on the lookout for a wanted Crawford County man. Robinson Police report that Dean Clay is being sought after he failed to report to the Illinois Department of Corrections. He was arrested in June and convicted of Home Invasion and Domestic Battery. Clay is being considered as dangerous and there is cause to believe that he fled the immediate area. Anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to not confront him, but contact the Crawford County Sheriffs Department or the nearest law enforcement agency.
