The city of Vincennes is officially growing larger. The City Council meeting Monday evening at City Hall voted to approve a resolution adopting a fiscal plan to provide services in the annexation area and then approved an ordinance of annexation for the approximately 25 acres in the Hillcrest and Bruceville Road area. Two new residences will be coming into the city and Mayor Joe Yochum and other city officials say that the area is expected to used to develop needed housing in the future further increasing the city’s growth.
