Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange has announced that 3 people were sentenced to prison terms in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 26 year old Dakota Koonce of Lawrenceville pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials, a Class 2 Illinois Felony. He was given 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with 2 years of Mandatory Supervised Release. 20 year old Dalton Mattingly of Lawrenceville pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois Felony and was sentenced to 3 years in the DOC with a year of Mandatory Supervised Release. 53 year old Gregory Shoulders of Lawrenceville pled guilty to Burglary, a Class 2 Illinois Felony and was placed on probation, but violated the terms and was sentenced to 45 months in the DOC with 2 years of Mandatory Supervised Release. All three men must pay all court fines and assessments.
