The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,833 new cases of coronavirus across the state Wednesday with 46 additional deaths. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 1,474,285 cases of the disease with 23,685 deaths. Here in Lawrence County, the LCHD Rural Health Clinic has announced it will be closed due to COVID-19 exposure from now until next Monday August 23rd for cleaning and disinfection measures.
