Jean Marie Henshaw, age 84 of Newburgh, IN, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born October 19, 1936 in Olney to Selvin and Olga (Wernle) Paddock.
On December 12, 1964, Jean married James B. Henshaw. He preceded Jean in death on August 24, 2019.
Jean received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the Deaconess School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Rooms and later as a Director of Nursing of a nursing home in Newburgh. Jean enjoyed crafting, the Daytona 500 Race (NASCAR), and fishing.
Surviving family includes: her daughter- Julie Enlow and husband Ryan of Indianapolis, IN: one grandson- Sam Enlow of Indianapolis, IN: one brother- David Paddock and wife Sandra of Lawrenceville: one sister-in-law- Ruth Wiggins of Ohio: and two brothers-in-law- Jerry Henshaw and wife Carolyn and Mike Henshaw all of Evansville, IN.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am CST/12:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Cunningham-Young Funeral Home of Lawrenceville is in charge of arrangements.
