The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,114 new cases of coronavirus across the state Thursday with 24 additional deaths. There were 19 new positive cases reported Thursday by the Lawrence County Health Department with 6 people now hospitalized. There were 48 new cases reported Thursday in Knox County Indiana. Overall since the pandemic began in Illinois, there have now been 1,454,208 cases of the disease with 23,575 deaths. A total of 13,463,308 vaccinations have occured across Illinois as of Wednesday with the vaccine rollout with over 52,000 doses given on that day.
