The St Francisville City Council met in regular session Wednesday night and took actions in regard to the Water Well #11 drilling project. They approved an electrical supply option for the well costing around $45,000 and also approved an ordinance to borrow $450,000 through the Public Water Supply Program to pay for the $376,000 installation and other contingency costs of the project. Mayor Danny Lynn indicated to the council that survey work is expected to begin soon on the property area for a proposed new service station/convienence store in the city. More discussions are planned with the developers in the future. The mayor also said the city will be receiving close to $84,000 though the American Rescue Plan Act for use in improving water and sewer systems and broadband communications and other specific areas.
