The National Weather Service is continuing the Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville until Friday. The river was at 31.5 feet Wednesday morning-1 1/2 foot above flood stage with some minor flooding occuring. The river is expected to crest at around 31.6 feet late Wednesday and begin to fall. It should fall below flood sometime late Thursday or early Friday.
