The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 2,950 new cases of coronavirus Tuesday with 10 new deaths. The Lawrence County Health Department reported 15 new positive cases Tuesday with 82 cases still active and 4 hospitalizations. There were 35 new positive cases reported Tuesday in Knox County Indiana. The LCHD has announced it will be hosting weekend COVID-19 drive-thru testing on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 until 11 a.m. at the main office located on US 50 west of Lawrenceville at Country Club Road. Those wanting to be tested are asked to bring their insurance card if available. As of Monday over 13.3 million vaccinations had been administered in Illinois and 51% of Illinois residents were fully vaccinated. Around 32% of the Lawrence County population had been vaccinated.
