Lawrenceville Police are continuing to investigate a hit and run incident early Thursday in south Lawrenceville. Reports indicate that an unknown vehicle was traveling south on 15th Street and ran off the road at Route 1 Auto Sales at 2105 15th Street. It then struck a parked and unattended 1999 Ford F-150 Truck in the left drivers side and then left the accident scene. The collision caused over $1500 in damage to the vehicle owned by William Mashburn of Claremont Illinois. White paint transfer was found at the scene.
