ARENADO LEADS CARDS OVER CUBS

Third baseman Nolan Arenado blasted a two run home run to help lead the St Louis Cardinals to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs in the finale of their four game series Thursday night at Busch Stadium in St Louis. Dylan Carlson also added a leadoff solo homer and 2 doubles to the Cardinal offense. Jake Marisnik drove in both Cub runs. Kwang Hyun Kim picked up the win for St Louis while rookie Adbert Alzolay took the loss for the Cubs, who lost three of the four games. The Cubs have a short turnaround as they return to Wrigley Field Friday afternoon for the first of a three game set with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
