The Lawrence Public Library is seeing more usage. That according to a report made Tuesday evening to the Board of Trustees by Library Director and Head Librarian Diane Brumley. She indicated that with the warmer weather and the reopening of the state, the statistics for the summer show an increase in walkin patronage both youth and adult in June with the recently completed Summer Reading Program successful with 150 signees. The board did approve adoption of the annual Tax Levy Ordinance for building and maintenence. They also discussed ideas to improve the library entrance and grounds. Among the topics suggested-creation of a library logo design, an art mural display, sidewalk repairs and larger outside lettering.
