CUBS STUN CARDS IN 9TH INNING

The Chicago Cubs rallied for 6 runs in the top of the 9th inning Tuesday night at Busch Stadium to beat the St Louis Cardinals 7-6 in game two of their four game series. The Redbirds entered the inning leading 6-1. Ian Happ hit a go-ahead 2 run double and Javier Baez drove in two for the Cubs, who snapped a two game losing skid. Craig Kimbrell picked up his 22nd save for the Cubs while Cardinal closer Alex Reyes was tagged with the loss and blew his first save of the season. The two teams battle in game three Wednesday with veterans Kyle Hendricks (12-4) for the Cubs and Adam Wainwright (7-6) for the Cards.
