Two time Lawrence County Open champion and current PGA golfer Adam Schenk picked up his best result on the tour thus far as he shot a final round 67 to finish in a tie for fourth in the John Deere Classic this past weekend in Silvis Illinois. The South Knox product led the tournament with 5 holes to play but an errant drive led to a bogey at 14 that allowed eventual winner Lucas Glover to take the lead with a birdie on the hole. Glover won with a 19 under 265 total with Schenck three shots back at 16 under 268.
