CUBS SNAP LOSING SKID

Joc Pederson, Anthony Rizzo and Nico Hoerner each had 2 hits and drove in runs as the Chicago Cubs snapped their 11 game losing streak with an 8-3 win Wednesday night over the Philadelphia Phillies in game three of their four game series at Wrigley Field. Cubs starter Alec Mills picked up the win as they improved to 43-44 on the season. The two teams will finish up the series Thursday night with Zach Eflin (3-6) going for the Phils and Adbert Alzolay (4-8) for the Cubs.
