Lawrenceville Police investigated a single vehicle accident late last week at Gray Wholesale at 1419 12th Street. Reports indicate that a 2006 Semi-Truck-Trailer owned by J.B. Hunt Transport of Oklahoma City and being driven by Terez White of East St Louis Illinois was backing into a receiving bay at the company location Friday morning just before 10 when it struck an Ameren-Illinois utility pole. Both the truck and pole were damaged in the mishap. White was not injured. Authorities issued no citations in connection with the collision.
