Sandra ‘Sandy’ J. Kiser, age 73, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on March 13, 1948 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Rudolph and Bessie (Dolman) Ruzich. She married William Kiser on September 29, 1973, and he survives.
Sandy worked at Central Industries and Gemtron. Her hobbies included camping, fishing, laying out in the sun, and traveling. Her memberships included the St. Francisville United Methodist Church, Rod & Gun Club, VFW, Moose, and American Legion. Her family will always remember her saying, ‘Love You Bunches’.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Jr. Ruzich; and two sisters, Rosie Turnage and Jan Laslie.
Survivors include her husband; two children, William May, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Twilla May of Vincennes, Indiana; one brother, William Ruzich of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one sister, Kathy Foster and husband, Rob of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two grandchildren, C.J. Baldwin and husband, Rush and Hoyt May; one great-grandchild, Luna Baldwin; special friends, Kathy and Mike Mills; as well as several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 03, 2021 at 10:00 AM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
