Around 90 of the top senior high school football players from across the area including 3 from Lawrence County will play Saturday in the 17th Annual Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association All-Star Game in Terre Haute Indiana. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m. EDT at Memorial Stadium on the campus of Indiana State University. The contest will pit the Gold Team coached by Blaine Powell of Sullivan against the Black Team coached by Chuck Sorrell of South Putnam. Casey Pinnell of the Robinson Football Maroons will be an assistant on the Black squad which has Drake Allen and Damien Plummer of the Red Hill Salukis on the roster. Brayden Sherman of the Lawrenceville Indians is on the roster for the Gold Team.
