The Knox County Indiana man charged with murdering his wife made his first appearance in court Wednesday. 45 year old Kevin Hatfield is accused in the stabbing death of Jasmine Hatfield who was discovered dead at the couple’s rural Oaktown residence last Friday night. During the proceeding, a not guilty plea was entered with the court on Hatfields behalf and attorney Brain Jewell was appointed to his defense. Trial is expected to begin in October. Hatfield remains incarcerated without bond in the Knox County Jail.
