The Knox County Indiana Commissioners have approved a bid for road paving work. The bid of just over $1.2 million from E and B Paving was accepted-one of two bids received for the work. The other was from Milestone Paving. Funding for the projects comes from the Indiana Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) Program. Among the projects is work on Old Wheatland Road from the city limits of Vincennes to Indiana State Road 550 and work on sections of US 41 both north and south of Vincennes. Work is expected to take up most of the rest of 2021.
