Betty Lou Ferriell, age 85, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Gentle Care in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on May 08, 1936 in Billett, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Dorothy (Cox) Biehl. She married Leonard Francis “Toog” Ferriell on April 26, 1957, and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2020.

Betty worked for Delzells Clothing Shop, Cannons Furniture, and Dowels N Five. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville. Betty enjoyed flower arranging, decorating for the holidays, genealogy, and antiquing with her husband Francis. Most of all, her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Leonard; two brothers, Donald and Curt Biehl; and one sister, Carol Sue Mills.

Survivors include her children, Lisa Wilson and husband, Duane of Monroe City, Indiana, Jerry Ferriell and wife, Mary of Noblesville, Indiana, and Karen Snider of Indianapolis, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Jason Fossmeyer, Evan Fossmeyer, Michael Wilson, Ellen Hutchinson, Kelly Ferriell, Sara Ferriell, Kyle Ferriell, Logan Gregory, and Lucas Snider; nine great-grandchildren,

Delilah Gregory, Stella Gregory, Gypsy Brown, Jake Wilson, Clare Wilson, Layla Snider, Bexley Snider, Avalyn Hutchinson, and Edison Hutchinson; one brother, Sam Biehl and wife Ann of Gainesville, Florida; three sisters, Janet Fielden and husband, Robert of Tell City, Indiana, Sheron Garman and husband, Lester of Grayville, Illinois, and Beverly Erton and husband, Bill of Ocala, Florida.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 1:00 PM CDT. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Betty’s honor may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
