The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation will host a grand opening celebration Friday for the new Charles C. Hedde MD Health Education Center in Vincennes. It is scheduled from 6 until 9 p.m. EST in the parking lot north of the new facility. The public is invited and there will be free food, fun and entertainment. The $2.5 million center is being used for staff and clinical training and will serve as an education center for the residency program and will also be available for community use. Construction began in July of 2020 and was completed in April of 2021.
