Vincennes University Thursday hosted a public hearing on it’s proposed increases in tuition for 2021-22 and tuition and room and board rates for 2022-23. The increase would be $200 for 2021-22 with room and board staying the same. Tuition would rise $206 in 2022-23 with room and board increasing $327 for the period. The overall average bill for tuition, room and board would raise to $17,358 for 2022-23 at the university. University President Dr. Chuck Johnson says the increases are needed for salary and equipment upgrades. The proposed rates were approved by the Finance and Revenue Committee and will now head to the VU Board of Trustees for consideration next Wednesday.
