The St Francisville City council met in regular session Wednesday evening and heard from Mayor Danny Lynn on work being done to unclog city sewer and septic lines. He indicated that the work is still progressing and has been slowed by the truck being used for the work needing repair. The council sent to it’s Street Alley and Bridge committee the statements and qualifications of 2 engineering firms being rated for bridge inspection work and also sent to the Building Grounds and Park committee for a report ways to take advantage of River Park. Among items being looked at will be licensing, fees and upgrades of the facility including camping. 2 new summer help hires by Mayor Lynn were approved. After receiving an update on the new water well project, it was decided to approve $6000 for the drilling of another test well near the proposed location.
