The Newton Baseball Eagles scored 18 runs in the bottom of the first inning Friday and rolled over the Lawrenceville Indians 23-3 Friday at Newton. The lopsided loss drops the Tribe to 5-9 on the season. They will host the Red Hill Salukis Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Unit 20 Ballpark in a game postponed from last Thursday and Saturday by rain and field conditions.
