Indiana State Police now say that a Knox County woman has died of injuries sustained in a Sunday evening accident. 55 year old Paula Kordes of Vincennes died at Ascension St Vincent Hospital in Evansville Monday. She was driving a 1987 Oldsmobile around 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time west on Indiana State Road 61 west of Monroe City when her vehicle left the northside of the road, struck a ditch and then overturned coming to rest on its top. She was initially taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes and later airfifted to the Evansville hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
