Two men were hurt late Monday afternoon in a truck-tractor collision on US 50 eastbound in Knox County Indiana. State Police say that just before 5 p.m. Eastern Time a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup being driven by 36 year old Phillip Murray of Washington was headed east on 50 when his vehicle ran into the rear of a farm tractor pulling a farm implement on the road shoulder. Murray was taken initially to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes and later lifeflighted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville in serious condition. The tractor driver, 46 year old Jason Wichman also of Washington was taken to Daviess Community Hospital in Washington with non-life threatening injuries. The eastbound lanes of US 50 were closed for about 3 hours while troopers investigated the accident.
