An Amber Alert was issued Friday night across the southeastern Illinois area for a missing Wayne County youth. The alert was issued around 9 p.m. for 9 year old Alli Matthews of rural Fairfield by the Wayne County Sheriffs Department after she was reported missing. The girl was taken by Teresa Milner and was with her in a 2012 Ford Focus. However a little later, the department posted on it’s Facebook page that the girl was discovered healthy and unharmed and was in protective custody and Milner had been arrested in the case. The Amber Alert was discontinued around 11 p.m.
