The Lawrence Unit #20 Board of Education has filled one of it’s open administrative positions. Wednesday, they moved to hire Amber Ochs to become Parkview Junior High School Principal. Ochs comes to Unit 20 after teaching in the Carmi and Grayville areas in southeastern Illinois. She will replace Jeremy Brush on July 1st. Interviews will be conducted over the next month with candidates for the vacant Parkview Asst Principal/Dean of Students position in anticipation of filling that vacancy in June. Lawrenceville High School will host it’s 2021 graduation this Sunday May 23rd at 2 p.m. in the LHS Gym and the Parkview Junior High 8th grade promotion is coming up on Monday, the 24th at 6 p.m. at the LHS Gym.
