The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,248 new cases of cornonavirus Sunday across the state with 24 new deaths. The Lawrence County Health Department added 2 new cases on Friday upping the overall total to 2,477. 12 cases remain active with 1 hospitalization and no new deaths. There was a single case reported in Knox County Indiana Sunday with the case total there now at 3,728 with no new deaths. Overall since the pandemic began, there have now been 1,366,268 cases of the disease statewide in Illinois with 22,439 deaths.
