The South Knox Spartans scored five early runs and went on to knock off the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians 7-3 Wednesday at Unit 20 Ballpark. The visitors scored 7 runs on 10 hits and 4 errors while the Tribe score 3 times on 7 hits with 1 error. Leyton Ivers had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the loss, which drops the Indians to 4-4. The Indians were scheduled to play Thursday at North Clay, but that contest has been cancelled. The next game will be Monday at Paris in LIC play.
