Cleveland 2nd baseman Cesar Hernandez hit s two run homer in the bottom of the 5th inning Tuesday night to lift the Indians to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs in Cleveland. The blast erased a 2-1 Cub lead at the time. The Cubs did threatened in the 9th but hit into a game ending double play. The loss is the second in a row for the Cubs who fall to 17-18 while Cleveland improves to 19-14. The Indians go for a sweep of the brief two game series Wednesday afternoon.
