The Bi-State Authority Board met in regular session Tuesday evening at the Mid-American Air Center northeast of Lawrenceville. They received a report from airport manager Kurt Schwartz on a request from the U.S. E.P.A. to survey a selected wetlands site on airport property. He also announced that Maintenence Supervisor Mark Ruppel is retiring from the airport after 8 years of service at the facility. A wage review request was sent to the Insurance and Personnel committee for further study.
