The Lincoln Trail College Lady Softball Stateswomen lost 3 of 4 games this past weekend. They split a Saturday doubleheader at home to Rend Lake College winning the first game 2-1 in 8 innings and dropping the second 5-3. Jayley Akers had a hit and scored the winning run for LTC in the first game and had 2 hits and a RBI in the second. LTC was swept Sunday on the road at #17 Lakeland College by scores of 5-3 and 10-9 in 8 innings. Akers hit her 18th homer in game one and had a hit and scored 2 runs in game two. LTC is scheduled to play at Shawnee Monday.
