Lawrenceville Police have released details of their investigation into a single vehicle accident Sunday in which a Richland County man was charged with multiple offenses. It occured Sunday around 3:30 p.m. when a 2006 Dodge van being driven by 60year old Charles Robertson of Olney was heading east on Lexington Avenue near 20th Street. Robertson blacked out behind the wheel and lost control of the vehicle. It veered off the road and hit a utility pole and a city street sign before running through several residential yards. Robertson and a passenger then left the scene. However, the vehicle and driver were identified and later apprehended. Robertson was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
