The Red Hill Unit 10 Board of Education met in special session Tuesday for reorganization after the recent election. Incumbents Bob Christy, Bruce Jones and John Phipps along with newcomers Billy Gray and Derek McCullough were declared as winners and all 5 were administered the oath of office and seated. Afterward, the board adjourned sine die for the election of officers. Christy was re-elected to another term as Board President with Trent Masterson picked as Vice President and Jones as Board Secretary. The new board did set meeting times for 2021-22 and in it’s first decision voted after a lengthy discussion to approve the sending of a letter from Red Hill High School to the Little Illini Conference announcing the decision to formally leave the league effective at the end of 2022.
