The Lincoln Trail College Lady Softball Stateswomen won three of four games this past weekend. They split Saturday with Kaskaskia at Centralia losing 8-7 in 10 innings in game 1 and winning 11-2 in game 2. Jayley Akers had 6 hits in the doubleheader- 4 in the game 2 win. Sunday, they swept Rend Lake at Ina Illinois 12-2 in game 1 and 7-6 in game 2. Akers exploded for 3 home runs and 4 RBI in game 1 and walked twice and scored in game 2. The Stateswomen will host Lakeland Tuesday.
