VU GETS $8 MILLION LILLY GRANT

Vincennes University has received a grant of $8 million from Lilly Endowment through Phase 3 of it’s Charting the Future of Indiana’s Colleges and Universities initiative. The grant will help the school build a talent pipeline for work in advanced automation and collabrative robots or cobots and to support the creation of the Center for Applied Robotics and Automation. VU is one of 16 Indiana colleges and universities that will be supported by the funding . University President Dr. Chuck Johnson says that they are thrilled to be a grant recipient for the initiative and look forward to the opportunity to help shape the future of Indiana’s economy and workforce.
