Indiana State Police report two Sullivan County teens were killed after being involved in a two vehicle collision Thursday afternoon on U.S. 41 near the city of Carlisle. Dead are 18 year old Shelby Hatton and 16 Connor Rodriguez both from Carlisle. Horton pulled out at the intersection of 41 and Indiana State Road 58 into the path of a semi being driven by 38 Timothy Sarver of Terre Haute and was hit. Horton died later at a Terre Haute hospital while Rodriguez died at the scene. Sarver was uninjured.
