It will be next month before Lincoln Trail College near Robinson has a new President. The Illinois Eastern Community College Board met in Olney Tuesday and announced they now intend to formally hire a candidate at their April 20th meeting. It was thought that Dr Zahi Attalah would be named to the position as sources indicated that he was selected from among the finalists interviewed. Attalah would become the 11th LTC President and replace Roger Eddy who is currently serving as interim president. Student trustee Sutton Dunn from Olney Central College was honored for his 12 months of service on the board with his term expiring and the board approved a resolution of support for the construction of a senior center addition to Bob Boyles Hall on the campus of Frontier Community College in Fairfield.
