The St Francisville City council met in regular session Wednesday night and did approve the hiring of Bill Gunzel of rural St Francisville as the new city employee. He was selected from among 9 applicants for the position and began his new duties this week. The city received bridge inspection reports indicating that the Indiana and Wabash river bridges were in good condition with the overflow bridge needing some future maintenence.  It was announced that ATV and UTV stickers are now available for purchase by city residents for $20 during regular business hours at City Hall. The council did approve over $46,800 in Motor Fuel Tax Money for 2021. They also after much discussion moved to give a $35 allowance regarding city employee cellphones. The city will discontinue one of its cellunits in the future.
